Founded in April of 2011, Forest Hills Runners is a running group based in Jamaica Plains, MA. It’s community running at its best (free and for everyone), which we believe can bring people together from all populations in JP and its surroundings. It’s both for Olympians and for people who have never run a step in their lives but would love to meet others and want to give running a try.
We had our first fun on Tuesday, the 26th of April, and have been running around Jamaica Plain and Boston ever since.
All runs meet on the grass across from the Stonybrook T-stop
Beginners and Run-walkers welcome!
Mondays – 6:00 am – Recovery run (Easy, slower pace for all)
Mondays – 7:00 pm – Social Run (Easy, slower pace for all)
Tuesdays - 7:00 pm – Tempo runs or Hill workout (More challenging workout – all paces welcome)
Wednesdays – 7:00 pm – Social Run (Easy, slower pace for all)
Thursdays – 7:00 pm – Hills or Track workout (More challenging workout – all paces welcome)
Join us after for drinks and food!
Saturdays – 9:00 am – Fun run: 1-3, 4-6, and 8-13 miles (All paces welcome)
Join us for coffee after the run at JP Licks!
Sundays – First Sunday of every month at 12:00 pm – FREE running form Clinic at JP Centre Yoga
Sundays – 12:45 pm – Yoga for runners at JP Centre Yoga ($10) with Cara Gilman
